"Add Multiple Images" Wizard
Previous  Top  Next

The "Add Multiple Images" Wizard is automatically started when a user drops more than one file onto the editor from for instance explorer. What will happen is that these files will be added on new pages, with a configuration of 1, 2, 4 or 8 per page.

Image formats
Note that only the valid importable image formats can be dropped, e.g. BMP, GIF, JPG and PNG.

Important
The images are always aligned as much as possible with the margins of the page, so it is important to set these correctly.

Once you drop a number of files (must be more than one) onto any spot on the editor's window, you will get this dialog:

The last line of this dialog shows what is going to happen, how many pages and images you are adding.

Click on [OK, Add] to accept the settings and add the images, or on [Cancel] to cancel the whole operation.

How many images per page?
Here you can select 1, 2, 4 or 8. See the examples below on how this looks.

[x] Start with new page
If checked (default), no images will be added to the current page. Rather, new pages are created at the end of the document, and there the images are added to.

[x] Auto-correct orientation
If checked (default), incoming images may be turned 90 degrees so that they better fit in their box on the page. For instance, if you have portrait photos and add 2 per page, they will be rotated so they are landscape, and thus they fit the page better (less waste of empty space!)

Margin between images
This will adjust the margin between the images in [mm]. Default is 4 mm, you can change this to any value you like.
