Screen Layout
When you first start, the screen will look like this:
Title bar, menu and toolbar
At the top you see the title bar, menu and toolbar. The title bar shows the name of the current loaded document, or [Untitled] if none.
Through the menu you can access most of the functions of the demo. The toolbar provides a one-click access to these functions.
Properties panels
On the left side of the screen you see the tabs Shape, Effect, Page, Document and User. In this collection of panels you can edit the properties of shapes, effects, pages, the document itself and your own preferences under User.
Document window
The right side of the screen shows the page of the actual document. Here you can place and edit shapes. You can use the scrollbars to scroll around the page, and use the zoom buttons to zoom in, out or to width or page.
Thumbnail list
The bottom of the screen shows a list of thumbnails of all pages in the document. When you start, there is only one page. You can click on a thumbnail to go to the corresponding page.
