In the Page panel you can set the properties for individual pages, only if the individual page is a non-default page. Otherwise, use the Document panel to set the page properties.

[x] This is a default page
You must uncheck this box if you want to edit any of the page properties. Effectively, it means that the layout of this page is no longer controlled by the document default page settings, but directly by the user.

You can always make the page a default page again (and loosing some of your own settings) by checking [x] This is a default page.

Page size
Use this setting to change the page size. The editor has a few predefined page sizes from which you can choose:
A3, A4, A5, Letter, Tabloid, Legal and Executive.

You can also set the size to Custom, in that case you can change the settings under Width x Height [mm] to any size in [mm] you wish.

[ ] Landscape
Check this box to make the page a landscape page.

Page color
The default page color is white, here you can change it to any other color. Note: this color will get printed.

Margins
Here you can set the margins that will be used for this page. Margins mostly serve as an indication when editing so you know which are the limits for putting shapes on the page.

·Left This is the distance from the left edge of the physical paper to the left margin
·Top This is the distance from the top edge of the physical paper to the top margin
·Right This is the distance from the right edge of the physical paper to the right margin
·Bottom This is the distance from the bottom edge of the physical paper to the botom margin

Gridsize in [mm]
Whenever you use grid or dots as helpers, the document window will show them with an intermediate distance that is entered here.

When using Snap To Grid, the shape's left/top position will be aligned with the grid points. Grid points are calculated from the very left/top of the page.

Gridcolor
Here you can change the color of the grid lines or dots.

[ ] Background Image
By default, the page does not contain a background image. You can set one by checking the mark. You will be prompted with an Open Image dialog box to choose an image. The image will be drawn on each page.

[ ] Tiled
When you check [x] Tiled, the background image will be tiled (repeated) as many times as neccesary to fill the page. This is an ideal setting for textured pages.

When [ ] Tiled is not checked (default), the background image is stretched over the complete page. Use an appropriate image to avoid aspect errors.
