This panel will control the properties of the shape's shadow.
Delta X, Delta Y [mm]
Enter the offset of the shadow relative to the shape itself. The default is usually OK for normal documents. Use 0.0 and 0.0 to emulate a glow effect.
Shadow Color
The default shadow color is black which is usually OK for normal documents. Use lighter colors (on a dark background) to emulate a glow effect.
Blur radius [mm]
This slider will adjust the radius (spread) of the blur. DtpDocuments uses a proprietary, ultra-fast blur technique which still yields professional results indistinguishable from Gaussian blur. In this technique the radius of the blur does not influence the speed with which the blur is calculated.
Use a small blur for hard shadows (Lucky Luke's ones), and use bigger blur radii for soft shadows.
Intensity (%)
Sets the intensity relative to an intensity level of 1 (pixel value 255 at the peak). Default is 70%.
