Cut/Copy/Paste keys

[Ctrl]+X
|
Cut a shape: it will be removed from the document and put on the clipboard
|
[Ctrl]+C
|
Copy a shape: it will remain in the document and copied on the clipboard
|
[Ctrl]+V
|
Paste a shape: if there is a shape or selection of shapes present on the clipboard, they will be copied to the document.
|
|
|
|
Editing shapes
|
F2
|
Start editing a shape. It must be selected first, and it must be an editable shape, e.g. a text or memo shape. Editing can also be started by a double-click.
|
[Esc]
|
Escape key: will cancel the current edit. It will also cancel any ongoing drag operations.
|
[Del]
|
Delete key: will delete the current selected text inside the shape. When not in edit mode, this key will delete the shape.
|
|
|
|
Undo / Redo
|
[Ctrl]+Z
|
Undo the last command.
|
[Shift]+[Ctrl]+Z
|
Redo the last command
|
|
|
|
Moving shapes
|
[Shift]
|
Hold down [Shift] to only move in square directions.
|
[Alt]
|
Hold down [Alt] to toggle the Snap To Grid mode. When [x] Snap to grid is set in the View menu, [Alt] will unset it and vice versa.
|
[Ctrl]
|
Hold down [Ctrl] to copy the shape instead of moving it.
|
|
|
|
Selection of shapes
|
[Ctrl]

Only for mode "Using [Ctrl] + mouse drag" (user panel):
If this mode is chosen, you must hold down [Ctrl] in order to start a selection rectangle. See also multiple selections.
