Toolbar

The toolbar provides easy access to all major functions of the editor. You can hoover the mouse pointer over toolbuttons to read a small hint about what each button does.

·Open With this function you can open a document from disk.  
·Save Save the current document. The current filename is displayed in the title bar. If there is no one, [untitled], then you will be prompted for one in a file open dialog box. Note: if you want to save the document under a different name, then use the Save As.. function from the main menu.  
·Add > Click on this button to open up a list of shapes that can be added, as well as two options for adding pages. See below for the Add submenu.  
·Delete Click on this button to delete selected shapes (if any) or delete selected pages (if any). Which function is chosen depends on the focused control. So if you last clicked the document window, shapes will be deleted. If you last clicked the thumbnail list, then pages will be deleted. Caution: for shapes there is no confirmation.  
·Width Zoom the current page so that it fills the width of the document window.  
·Page Zoom the current page so that it is completely visible in the document window.  
·Zoom Out Zoom out of the current page.  
·Zoom In Zoom in onto the current page. Note that the document zooms in around the center of the display.  
·Prev Go to the previous page in the document.  
·Next Go to the previous page in the document.  
·Move Back Move a shape or selection back so that its Z-order will be decreased. If the Z-order becomes 0, the shape is behind all other shapes on the page.  
·Move Fwd Move the shape or selection of shapes forward in Z-order.  
·Group Group a selection of shapes. You can select multiple shapes by holding down [Shift] while clicking them. See also Shape Grouping.  
·Ungroup Ungroup a previously grouped selection of shapes, so they will again become independent. See also Shape Grouping.  
·Align > When clicked, this function will align with the current setting. See it's icon. Click on the down arrow to open the Align submenu, see below. See also Shape Alignment.

·Add Text Shape Add one single line of text.  
·Add Memo Shape Add multiple lines of text in one shape  
·Add Bitmap Shape Add any pixelbased image (supported are BMP, JPG, GIF and PNG per default).  
·Add Metafile Add a Windows Metafile or Enhanced Metafile  
·Add Polyline  
·Add Line Shape Add a line segment that can have arrows at the start and end. There are 6 arrow types.  
·Add Ellipse Add an ellipse. Ellipses can be filled, semi-transparent or open.  
·Add Rectangle Add a rectangle, same fill options  
·Add Rounded Rectangle Add a rectangle with rounded corners, same fill options  

·Add new page at end Add another page to the document, and place it at the very end  
·Insert page here Insert another page in the document and at the current position (the current page and all later pages move one up).  

Align submenu

·Align Left This will align the left side of the selected shapes  
·Align Center This will align the shapes so they horizontally centered  
·Align Right This will align the right side of the selected shapes  
·Align Top This will align the top edges of all selected shapes  
·Align Middle This will center the selected shapes vertically  
·Align Bottom This will align the bottom edges of the selected shapes
