phpBB natively only supports PHP syntax highlighting for the CODE-BBCode. Example:

Code:

$i= 0;
foreach( $_REQUEST as $k1=> $v1 ) $i++;

Since you also have pascal and XML here on board you might be interested in adding syntax highlighting for virtually any known language. The modification also adds the actual language name to the code box instead of just showing "Code: Select all". I'm proposing this because I incorporated and tested it myself to great extent, eliminating all flaws and issues.

Thanks for this mod! I will look at how to upload this mod and get it working on the forum.

The simdesign phpBB forum is still on 3.0.6 tho, and I need to find time to upload the new version. I also don't know exactly whether there are consequences for the MySQL db, I am not very knowledgeable with web forums and databases
