I checked my user settings, and the "Display smilies as images" option is ON. But smilies here, on the forum, are not displayed properly for me -- just blanks instead. Screenshots taken in my Opera 11.01, forum theme 'subsilver2':

Same in my IE8!

When composing a message, 5 smilies ("Very Happy", "Smile", "Sad", "Confused" and "Wink") show as empty squares; the rest show OK.

actually they are .gif attachments that do not look as a smiley. Maybe this is caused in the conversion from phpbb v2 to phpbb v3. But don't worry, you can still use cool and mrgreen :mrgreen:

If I have some time I will try to download the additional smiley pack.
